Accommodation for International Students

Introduction

Shakira Baker

Students may not live in a flat or similar while enrolled at Wairarapa College.

Students must live in a homestay (organised by Wairarapa College or other) or with the family of a relative or close friend (organised by the parents 'designated caregiver') or in the school boarding hostel - College House.

Where the parents arrange a designated caregiver for their child rather than using the School's services, the parents are required to take full responsibility for the placement of the student with the designated caregiver.

Homestays

All homestay contact details (name, address and phone number) must be given to the school and any changes to the student's contact details be notified to the school immediately. Fees for homestays should be paid to the school for the same period as the tuition fees.
