School Fees for International Students

Introduction

Entry Requirement

Minimum age 13 years, maximum age at time of entry 18 years. Placement tests in English, Mathematics and Science will be carried out at the point of enrolment in the school.

NCEA Level 1 – Year 11 (Form 5)
Years 9 and 10 (Forms 3 and 4)

Half Year February – June NZ $5,625
  July – December NZ $5,625
     
Full Year   NZ $11,250

Please Note: This includes all tuition, full or part time ESOL classes, administration and homestay coordination fees.

Additional Costs

These may vary according to the programme and year level of the student and are not covered by the tuition fee:

  • Examination Entry – Fees into examinations depend on the year level and type of exam (e.g. NCEA = NZ $400 per year)
  • Stationery - including student workbooks
  • Uniform – NZ $300 approx
  • Homestay placement and airport pick up – NZ $330
  • Activity Fee NZ $300 and Medical deposit and pocket money NZ $240
  • Homestay Accommodation – Weekly fee of NZ $200. This includes all meals, own room and laundry services
  • Boarding hostel fees. Half year NZ $3960, full year NZ $7920
  • Insurance – Medical and travel insurance, approximately NZ $420/year
  • Student permit applications, variations in conditions. approximately NZ $300

Please Note: All fees are quoted in New Zealand dollars and include Goods and Services Tax (GST). This is a New Zealand government tax payable on the supply of goods and services. If the GST rate increases, we reserve the right to amend our fees accordingly. All fees (including homestay fees) must be paid in full in advance. All advice of cancellations must be made in writing.
