The PTA plays an integral role in the life of Wairarapa College.
Our aim is to foster goodwill through organizing fundraising and social events that bring the college and the community together, and to organize fundraising which will supplement the college’s existing funds and thus provide resources and equipment that the college may not otherwise be able to obtain.
Our current committee consists of 10 parents and 3 representatives from the college, with a regular update by a representative from the college hostel and Board of Trustees.
The committee is always on the lookout for new members, so come along to a meeting – they are on the 1st Monday of each month at 7pm in the staffroom (except when that falls in the school holidays) – we promise that we wont bite!
Like the students, committee members move through the college and then onto another life – so new members are always welcome.
