Students from Wairarapa College and Chanel came together at Wairarapa College on Wednesday, May 18th for a film making workshop run by Chris Widdup from The Outlook for Someday film competition as part of the current Wairarapa Film Festival season. Students learnt about the film making process from generating ideas through to filming, teamwork, leadership and editing.
The Outlook for Someday project is an annual film making competition that challenges students to create a short film that explores the idea of sustainability from any one of a range of perspectives.
The Wairarapa Film Festival celebrates stories about people and places. In 2022 the film festival continues to celebrate film in the Wairarapa including a screening of a Waicol student film, Milk Stains.
